manager yells at you like its a burger joint

I worked for this place for 3 weeks and it was one of the most unreasonable environments I've ever had to tolerate. My manager yelled at me in front of others 3 times during those 3 weeks, primarily because I'd not been reading books on Ajax in my spare time. This was completely unreasonable, because this same manager previously intended for me to spend time on the clock reading a book on Python.
