The good: pay is avg to slightly above avg
The bad: Opinions: Not what it appears to be. Espouses one thing and does another. All about money. Plays the CYA game.
No mileage reimbursement when driving to distant field sites (fairly frequent expectation). No guaranteed retirement (mostly volatile 401k options - lose your shirt in a bad market). Expensive health insurance. Expected to travel at their whim. Overtime work with no pay - just build more...
