The Western region health centre promotes itself as a good employer its Motto being "Health and Safety for Everyone" This is absolute rubbish. This centre has Very poor occupational health and safety process and Policies. Risks for Outreach and other workers engaged in difficult client work are serious and regualr yet this health centre does not have consistant, credable enforced OHS policies or proceedure to ensure the safety and postive work outcomes for workers. Western Region Health Centre does not have an employees support scheme despite the fact employees undertake very difficult stressful and somtimes dangrous work with clients who have multiply health Drug,Alchohol mental health issues. The managment practices are very poor and managers team leaders in general are promoted on the basis of nepotism so often do not have the skill ability or any idea really about mananging employees. This has lead to gross negligence work place injuries, stress as a result of bullying.

Bad Bad Bad. Negligent, bullies such poor inadequate managment proctices and process. Very poor OHS process and pratice. Yet this place only offers in return very basic Pay and Conditions nothing over and above the award.
Yet it promotes its self as a great employers.. Rubbish.. I experienced a very criticle incident regarding a clients death. i was exposed to some awful experiences and yet this employer did not offer support, debreifing time off follow more...
