Safe, Risk Averse Environment

I have been, and still am, a long time employee of Cisco Systems, Inc. I have seen it go from being a hungry start up to the corporate behemoth that it is today. As companies mature, it is not unusual to see policies and procedures take the place of gutsy, roguish behavior. This is to be expected. All praise and criticism herein are to be measured against this baseline.
