I was there for 2 years and in that time, more than half of the people that I know left the company. With attrition rates reaching exponential levels, I was always skeptical when the CEO would post messages and boast about how profitable the company is. I know the legal department has been pretty busy lately as well. They are hiring some talented lawyers from Harvard...wonder why? A few more lawsuits on the way may make for not so profitable times. That being said, I am very happy to have left that prison-like atmosphere in Wayland.

    I saw so many people leave that by the time I left the company there were only a handful that had been there when I started.

    Did you have to sign a non-compete? How stringent was it? How were the folks in Thailand to work with.

    Yes, you most likely have to sign a non-compete. Mine said I couldn't work for a competitor for 1 year "anywhere in the world". I know several people that were sued for violation of their non-compete because they went to work for companies that Softscape believed to be competitors. However, I know that Softscape has lost some of these lawsuits for various reasons.
