This company is evil in every way. It's bad for so many reasons. Right now the corporate culture is sick. The supervisors will run the company in the ground. There is such a level of discrimination that most people who have been there a number of years have been terminated. Or they quit on their own accord. Tech Data actively recruits recent graduates because they are mindless drones. If you're over 30 years of age and still working at Tech Data you're on your way out. Tech Data wants to avoid paying benefits. People that are 21 - 30 have less health problems typically. By forcing the older generation out Tech Data avoids paying for costly medical issues. Of course HR will deny this claim, but it's a true claim. I watched hundreds of people forced out. The older generation did not have attendance or performance issues. They did not have problems with authority like this may sound. They simply are old and think for themselves. Tech Data used to have incredible minds. Problem solvers. People used to handling large margin orders or large revenue orders. Most older sales people knew how to achieve their goals. I predict the company will fail. It will turn into a dark and seedy call center filled with shallow and unpredictable sales people. I advise the hundreds of people who will be laid off or hundreds who have left to file a class action lawsuit. It won't be hard for an opportunistic law office to make a lot of money off suing Tech Data. It would be like taking candy from the baby. Tech data being the baby.
