I have been with Softscape for 2 years and have never loved a job or a company as much as I love Softscape. They give you a lot of freedom to do your job and to be creative! There is challenge, sure, but I have been able to do things I always wanted to do. Thats what Softscape offers, an opportunity to show what you have. I am sure some people have come and gone but most of them didn't have the ambition or talent to do their job.
Any opportunity, including this one, is what you make it. Softscape isn't perfect but, take it from a present employee, it is a great place to work with a great team spirit!

I am glad you are enjoying your career at Softscape but many others have reported a very different experience. You have mischaracterized what has been said by them and who has said things on earlier postings here and elsewhere. You need to read and think a little more critically. Readers will be able to confirm this for themselves by simply looking at the earlier 8 comments here. In addition, why post one day apart at Vault and here with essentially the same message? Is this a sheer coincidence or is it Naked Truth II? Have you read the documents pertaining to the SuccessFactors lawsuit, including the admissions by Softscape's senior management? If you have, I find your puzzlement puzzling. -
Great company, great opportunity! posted by HRteam on November 19, 2008 09:14 AM
I have been able to make great progress in my career at Softscape, as well as broaden my horizons within my profession. Softscape is a great environment for learning, developing your career and has many opportunities to advance within the company.
I find the employees and management very friendly and willing to help. Employee input and feedback is valued greatly. -
What is your real problem?? posted by HRteam on November 19, 2008 09:22 AM
Many of us at Softscape love our jobs and are very, very happy here. You seem to have a whole other agenda regarding Softscape. You are not about an intellectual exchange of ideas but just an axe to grind about Softscape.
You are either employed by the competition or were an employee at Softscape who just couldn't cut it. In either case don't you have better things to do with your time than monitor this and other message board?? Whatever the case I feel sorry for you. The fact that some people could actually love their jobs at Softscape is incomprehensible to you. You believe that your opinion is the only one that matters and is the right one.
Some of us at Softscape are sick of the smear campaign going on about our company and believe its time the truth got out there. That is a fact with which you cannot accept and never will. -

I would like to comment on that review...
I have been with Softscape for 2 years and have never loved a job or a company as much as I love Softscape. **Comment: When I worked there 2 years was a very long term employee**
There is challenge, sure, but I have been able to do things I always wanted to do. **Comment: The challenge many faced everyday was not getting the phone call from Hank that he wants to see you.**
Thats what Softscape offers, an opportunity to show what you have. I am sure some people have come and gone but most of them didn't have the ambition or talent to do their job. **Comment: It was many times 10% come and gone per month when I worked there**
Any opportunity, including this one, is what you make it. Softscape isn't perfect but, take it from a present employee, it is a great place to work with a great team spirit! **Comment: I agree.. by far its not perfect. -

Interesting. It looks like Softscape has decided to bombard different boards with positive messages about what a great place to work it is. Transparent and clumsy. Why would anyone stir things up when they have gone quiet? Is something about to break? -

I was wondering the same thing. A lawsuit against their insurance company and now this "lets fluff up the company" on the web boards. Definitely makes you wonder! -

Haha, wow. That easily wins the award for Most Transparent Shill on the Internet. See my comments herehttp://coderific.com/ratings/138(I wrote that review before making this account) and herehttp://coderific.com/ratings/205For specific reasons why working at Softscape was awful. Note that the Softscapers who wrote the second linked comment couldn't or wouldn't refute any of my recollections.Softscape was the worst job I ever had, by far. I don't have a grudge; I'm simply motivated by compassion to warn others before taking a job at Softscape. -

Hey Successfactors employee - stop being anonymous and cowardly come out and tell us who you are. Can you imagine a company being so fixated on a competitor - that they post messages to this website each and every week - ALL ANONYMOUSLY. Give us a break - we are much smarter than you think.
