2.0 Unsanitary Conditions posted on November 24, 2011

I had just started working as a part time seasonal employee at the Fernley NV facility and on my first day I experienced some unpleasant sanitary issues. I will begin with the bathroom that looked like it had not been cleaned for days! The sanitary napkin holders were overflowing with used tampons, the soap dispensers were empty and the garbage cans were full. I would have rather used an outhouse! The lunchroom kitchen area was filthy with spilled food all over the counters and in the microwaves, the water dispensers barely trickled out the water and the drains to catch the water were growing mold! The garbage cans were also overflowing. This is the most disgusting environment I have ever worked in! Seems like Amazon takes great pride in pleasing their customers but very little consideration for the health and welfare of the employees who contribute to the company's success.
Shame on you Amazon!
